International collaborative relationships
The Centre for Stress Management has international collaborative relationships with a number of Centres of Expertise. We work together on publications and training programmes. New Zealand Centre for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Our collaboration with the Centre has included publishing book chapters and running stress management, CBT and REBT courses in New Zealand for over a decade. Centre for Diversity in Counselling and Psychotherapy The Centre is an interdisciplinary centre dedicated to research and development of multicultural and diversity issues in counselling and psychotherapy, focusing on the stigmatized social identities of gender, race, sexual orientations, class, disabilities,religion and age. Collaborative work has included Prof Stephen Palmer of the Centre for Stress Management and Prof Roy Moodley of the Centre for Diversity in Counselling and Psychotherapy co-editing the following book: Moodley, R. and Palmer, S. (2006). Race, Culture and Psychotherapy: Critical Perspectives in Multicultural Practice. London: Routledge.
